I had a very pleasant surprise this evening while finishing my spinach salad. As I had almost cleaned my plate I noticed two little hearts smiling up at me! I immediately thought of my sister, as she is always looking for hearts, letters, and interesting shapes in nature. I know it’s not quite the same thing…but it still made me smile! I know, I know…one got speared and almost eaten but I managed to stop myself just in time. Look how cute they are!
Sister, these would have been PERFECT for my “edible” nature photographs that would eventually become kitchen-artwork! You have found some wonderful nature gifts this year… weren’t there some heart-shaped berries this summer? So glad you share these little treats with the rest of us.
